Hi, I’m Brittany Larísa Avalon.

I’m locally born and raised in the Bay Area, and come from a long line of ancestral healers from Mexico. I have always had a deep spiritual and intimate connection with nature and have been fascinated with holistic and naturopathic remedies that stem from my incredible ancestral lineage.

In 2016, I was awarded my international CIDESCO Estheticians license and have been working in the skin care industry ever since. After working alongside my longtime mentor, Christy Swenson at Aloeswood Beauty, I was finally able to join together my two passions, skin care and holistic healing. Now, as Christy starts her new beginnings in Austria, I was able to transform what was once Aloeswood Beauty into what is now Holistic Harmony. I not only bring knowledge of skin but also provide clean products and positive intention to you with each treatment at Holistic Harmony. I have a deep belief system in safe spaces for everyone, so at Holistic Harmony, I have created a safe sanctuary that honors past rituals while infusing my personal healing touch for everyone. I can’t wait to share this moment with you.

History: Established in 2024

As a child, my dad would take me to see the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera every time it came to town. There was something so fascinating to me about The Phantom, and what some would describe as grotesque-looking, I found beautiful. Because of this, I started playing with makeup at a very early age, with skin as my canvas.

I then moved to LA to go to school, mastering the art of special effects makeup. For many years, I worked in the Film and Television industry and would get asked constantly by talent, "What skin care products should I be using?" "How can I improve my skin?". I never really had the most educated answers to those questions because that wasn't my specialty.

After years in the Film and Television industry, I decided to move back to the Bay Area and pursue my Estheticians License so that one day I would, in fact, have the most educated answers to those questions. Now, over a decade later, I have opened my own business to address all your skin concerns in a safe space, welcoming to everyone.
